Over 707,000 people in the entire state of Missouri who are uninsured. In Southwest Missouri there are more 60,000 uninsured, and in Jasper Newton counties there are over 32,000 uninsured. 80% work in small business.
The July 2005 Medicaid cuts left 3,000+ Southwest Missourians without access to care, and numbers are rising in 2006.
FUNDING: The Clinic receives NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING. It operates on grants and donations from churches, individuals, hospitals, patients and businesses.

CLINICS: acute care, pediatrics, cardiology, orthopedic, dental and specialty care.
STAFF & VOLUNTEERS: 2 full-time and 5 part-time staff. Over 185 volunteers support the work done at the Clinic. Doctors, dentists and professionals donated clinical time valued at $102,000 in 2005.
SERVICE AREA: Barton, Barry, Dade, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton and Vernon counties.

PATIENT VISITS: The Clinic provided over 3,900 patient visits in 2005.
Employees from over 300 businesses have received free treatment, medicine and surgeries through the Clinic and hospitals.
SPONSORS: The Clinic is partnering with businesses & churches to support health services for people in our community to lead healthy and productive lives.
