Adult General Medicine - Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners help alleviate the flow of patients into area emergency rooms to provide basic primary care. These clinics take place on an appointment-only basis on Mondays 1-4 p.m., two Wednesdays monthly 1-4 p.m., Thursdays 3-7:30 p.m.
Medicine refills (for clinic patients only) - Tuesdays Patients receive medication through the Community Clinic dispensary, or a local contract pharmacy through the City of Joplin's prescription assistance program.
Diabetic Education teaches nutrition, fitness, monitoring, and disease management the 2nd Monday of every month.
Pediatric General Medicine - Each Wednesday morning beginning at 9 a.m. for children without access to care. Children's Orthopedics is the first Wednesday of every month at 9 a.m.
Dental - Limited adult dental services are provided on an appointment-only basis and include extractions. Pediatric dental services include sealant clinics and basic hygiene. Area dentists, their assistants, and hygienists provide this care to those without access to dental care. Adults Call 1st of month to schedule an appointment 624-5500 ext. 27. Children's clinic - call daily to schedule.
Social Services - A social worker is on staff full-time at the Clinic to provide intake and screening, case management, and general support. Intake and screening takes place Monday-Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Specialty Medicine: orthopedics, pediatric orthopedics, cardiology, GI -appointment-only Tuesdays and Thursdays.
PharmAid - PharmAid provides assistance with prescriptions for those treated at the hospital emergency rooms who cannot afford to purchase medications on their own.
Career Assistance (in partnership with the Missouri Career Center) - For patients seeking help with securing stable work, career assistance is available through the Missouri Career Center, and the social worker can refer patients to that Center for assistance.
Spiritual Support - The Clinic was founded and continues to operate on the principle of love for one another. Twenty church teams provide meals for patients and prayer during clinic.
Counseling - Licensed counselors, psychologists, and psychiatrists provide mental health counseling on a referral basis, by appointment, and during Thursday afternoon clinic.
