Welcome to The Joplin Community Clinic

Did you know that in Jasper Newton counties there are over 32,000 people who are without health insurance? Statewide, 80% of those who are uninsured work in small business.

Volunteer physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, dental hygienists, pharmacists, nurses, and allied health students provide medical and dental treatment for uninsured children and adults.  The clinic has provided over 15,000 patient visits between 2005-2007.  Employees from over 300 businesses have received treatment, medicine and surgeries through the Clinic and partner hospitals at no cost or a reduced fee.  

SERVICE AREA: primarily Jasper and Newton counties.  Residents from other neighboring counties and states also received limited services.

SPONSORS:  The Clinic is funded by grants, donations from churches, individuals, hospitals, United Way, patients and businesses.
